Ströms Punsch

$15.50

A classic Swedish liqueur that carries the flavour notes of arrack, orange, vanilla and cinnamon.

The origin of Swedish Punsch dates back to 1733 when sailors onboard the Swedish East India Company ship Rex Sueciae used Batavia Arrack to make a traditional rum punch. Upon the ship's arrival to Gothenburg, the seaboard recipe gained an enthusiastic following which continues to this day.

(Arrack is a distilled alcoholic drink typically produced in India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia, made from the fermented sap of coconut flowers or sugarcane. It is delicious however!)

The traditional way to consume Swedish Punsch in Sweden is as an aperitif with yellow pea soup, on Thursdays! You can drink it neat, with ice or a dash of soda. However it can also be enjoyed and mixed into a cracking Espresso Martini!

Serving suggestion
Can be enjoyed both hot and cold, as a digestif or with a mixer. Try it over ice with Ginger Ale and lime juice, garnished with a lime wedge. Or a cracking Espresso Martini.
