We are a proudly Swedish company.
No.1 was launched in 2007 and comes from the beautiful town of Vänersborg, an hour’s drive North of Gothenburg in Sweden. Vänersborg provided our founder Glenn Ström with the inspiration to start distilling spirits. The beautiful surroundings of Vänersborg and the pure water of Sweden’s largest lake, Lake Vänern, form the heart of the No.1 range and the essence of all of our products.
Our
development
Our No.1 brand was launched in 2007 and has grown to the point of us moving to a much larger capacity production facility in 2019 in the beautiful town of Vänersborg, Sweden. We are fully certified to produce organic products and use the pure water of Lake Vänern for our entire No.1 range of products.
Our
production
We have significantly invested in our distillery and production facility to meet increased consumer demand around the world by installing 3 high-capacity bottling lines and 2 bag-in-box lines for our range of spirits and for different packaging sizes. As a consequence, No.1 is now the largest privately-owned alcohol production site in Sweden with a comprehensive quality control process over the entire production and distillation process for our own brands, as well as for the private label which we produce.
